Homecoming

Notice something different??

Yes! Noah's gavage (feeding) tube is out. Today I walked into the NICU to find my little man's face in it's full glory. No tape no tube no nothing. Just all Arnold adorable-ness. It was a surprise to me and filled me with an emotion I was not quite prepared for. It has come. He is now bottling his feedings continuously enough where he does not need a feeding tube. We were told that once this day comes, it is as if there wasn't ever a time he needed a tube. And that day has arrived. It was like switching on a switch and Noah's switch is on and he ready to be a big boy. Now once this day comes, which is here...within 24-36 hours he is ready to go home.
What??

Yes, NOAH IS COMING HOME tomorrow.

I said it. It is real. It is happening. NOW. Tomorrow. Hold your breath people and keep sending the prayers over. One marathon down and another begins tomorrow. Hmm, didn't someone say I didn't like marathons.

We look forward to a quiet few weeks keeping Noah healthy as we adjust, heal and bond together, our little family finally all under one roof.
(yes, we may have the phone ringers turned off for a while and a napping sign on the door.)

Thank Jehovah and sincere thanks to our mighty "village" who supported and carried us through this life changing journey. We could not have done this without you and are humbled and grateful for all you have done to greatly assist us. We love you all.

Whoohoo!!! We did it! gulp...
